The Origins of Old Mill
The story of Old Mill Entertainment begins centuries before the company itself. In the 1700s, a Dutch farm in what is now Manhasset, New York, operated a working mill serving the surrounding countryside. As the farmland gave way to grand estates and eventually suburban neighborhoods, the mill disappeared, but its legacy survived in the name Old Mill Road.
It was on this quiet residential street that the founder of Old Mill Entertainment grew up, eventually carrying a small piece of Long Island history into the world of motion pictures.
